Faculty Candidate Visit: Cary Fishkin, Thursday 1/21 at 2PM in the Dean's Seminar Room

Dear friends,

I wanted to share this information, from Student Liaison Committee member Tania Valdez regarding Ms. Fishkin's visit:
As I am sure you know, Boalt is trying to fill several open slots for professors in several different subject areas. This next year will be *crucial* in determining the character of the faculty for many years to come.

Today, Thursday, January 21, 2010, Cary Franklin, an entry-level candidate, will be visiting Boalt Hall. She is scheduled to meet with students at 2:00pm in the Dean's Seminar Room. She is a graduate of Yale Law School and is currently an Irving S. Ribicoff Fellow at Yale. Her teaching and research interests include: Constitutional Law, Family Law, Antidiscrimination Law, Employment Discrimination, Legal History, Property, Feminist Legal Theory, Gender & Sexuality Law, and Disability Law.

For a copy of Ms. Fishkin's CV (with citations to published works), or if you have questions, please contact Tania at tvaldez[at]berkeley[dot]edu with any questions.

Best,
Camille
