Students at Boalt have the unique opportunity to meet faculty candidates when they come to campus. Students provide substantive feedback and are able to meet the candidate in a more intimate, informal setting. Below, please find information on the candidate and the faculty visit. For the candidate's CV, representative publications, and job talk paper, please contact Angie Guevara at uclangie2001(at)gmail[dot]com.
I am writing on behalf of the Student Liaison Committee for Faculty Appointments to inform you of an upcoming faculty candidate visit. [...] Boalt is trying to fill several open slots for professors in several different subject areas. This next year will be *crucial* in determining the character of the faculty for many years to come.
On Tuesday, January 12th, Bertrall Ross, an entry-level candidate, will be visiting Boalt Hall. He is scheduled to meet with students at 2:00 PM in the Dean's Conference Room. He is interested in teaching Legislation and Statutory Interpretation, Civil Rights, Constitutional Law, Federal Courts, Election Law, International Trade Law, Sentencing, Administrative Law, Criminal Law and Civil Procedure.
[Mr. Ross] is a graduate of Yale Law School. He obtained his M.P.A. from Princeton and his M.Sc from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Thanks,
Angelica Guevara
