On behalf of our neighbors at Haas (who also have to reach deep into their pockets to pay tuition and so understand how nice an extra $30,000 would be):
The UC Berkeley Business Plan Competition is organized by the Haas School of Business and the Lester Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. For the Competition’s 12th year, we seek a more inclusive entrant pool across all UC Berkeley disciplines, including the Boalt School of Law
Founded in 1999, the UC Berkeley Business Plan Competition has continued to evolve as a leading Bay Area event and one of the nation's foremost business plan competitions. The Competition gives UC Berkeley students, alumni and local entrepreneurs the opportunity to work together to turn innovative ideas into real businesses. Last year more than 200 aspiring entrepreneurs entered plans in areas as diverse as social ventures, biotechnology, computing services and software, consumer goods, financial services, and the Internet. This year, the competition offers $30,000 in prize potential.
