Clerkships and Class Rank

Dear friends,

You've probably heard some of the ruminations that the faculty are discussing Boalt's class rank system in the context of judicial clerkships. Your reps to the Curriculum and Clerkship committees, and their respective faculty members, have worked tirelessly to propose two new potential class rank policies. Student feedback will be essential in determining the new policy.

Courtesy of M*ndi and the Office of Student Services: The Curriculum Committee is soliciting student feedback on two proposals for changing the clerkship application process and class rank. Focus groups of 20 students will meet on the following days:

Monday, Nov 16 from 12:45-1:45pm
Wednesday, Nov 18 from 3:30-4:30pm
Thursday, Nov 19 from 3:30-4:30pm

If you are interested in attending, please follow this link.

If you are unable to attend any of the sessions, you can still participate by emailing Prof. Sw*ft for a copy of the proposal and sending her your feedback.

You can also, of course, contact your student reps or me (Camille).
