1L Students,Yes, I know we got this in email form. No, I don't believe people actually read their emails. No, I also don't think people actually check this bl0g -- yet. Yes, I would like you to. THE ACTUAL CONTENT:
Just a reminder about the advising session tomorrow Thursday April 9th from 12:45pm - 1:45pm in Booth.
Our office gets a lot of questions about classes - should I take any Bar classes and if so, which ones? Can I do an externship and go on the UCDC program? How many clinic units can I take? Is there a limit on the number of credit/no credit classes I can take? How does the writing requirement work? What constitutes a seminar curve class? A lot of these questions are ones that 2Ls and 3Ls tell us that they wish they had known earlier, which is why we are having this session for you before fall registration begins.
In addition to folks from our office, Sue Schechter, Director of the Field Placement Program, Kristen Holmquist, Director of Academic Support, and James Lyda, Counselor, will all be there to answer your questions.
Lunch will be provided.
