Academic Placement Committee

We have recently added a new committee to the student faculty committees that students can apply for.  The Academic Placement Committee is a good fit for anyone interested in a career in legal academia.  The application for this committee is the same as the other committees, but the deadline for application for the Academic Placement Committee will be extended to next Thursday, September 9th.  All students are welcome to apply. 

Academic Placement Committee:
The Committee is focused on helping Boalt grads secure law teaching jobs after graduation.   Over the past several years, we have developed a number of programs for current JDs and recent graduates that help educate individuals about different careers in legal academia as well as the specific process by which law professors obtain their positions. Among other things, the Committee hosts a variety of informational sessions on law teaching for JDs and runs several programs for Boalt grads who are currently on the academic job market.  In short, we want to make sure that students are aware of the academic career route and that Boalt continues its tradition of producing great law professors.
